Property media deadline: plan backwards from launch
Work backwards from the listing launch through preparation, capture, editing and approval.

A property media deadline needs time for preparation, capture, editing, review and upload. Work backwards from the campaign launch and confirm each dependency before treating the shoot date as settled.
Start with the actual publication point
Tell the studio when the media needs to be ready for the agency, not merely the public inspection date. A brochure designer, portal upload or vendor approval may need files earlier. Distinguish the preferred deadline from a fixed external deadline so the studio can assess the request honestly.
List the required assets: photos, floor plan, video, aerial images and any social versions. Different deliverables may have different production and review steps. Do not assume that a photography delivery statement automatically covers a film edit or a revised floor plan.
Resolve readiness before the appointment
Check cleaning, styling, landscaping and other contractor visits. A property that is still being prepared may not support the agreed shoot even if the photographer arrives on time. Nominate who decides whether the property is ready and when that decision must be communicated.
For an occupied rental, the authorised property contact should arrange the applicable access and permissions. For a vacant home, confirm keys, utilities and room access. Discuss a reasonable alternative if a critical area will not be ready, rather than waiting until the camera is set up.
Leave room for review
Name the person who will approve the media and check their availability. An unreviewed gallery waiting in an inbox is a different problem from a late delivery. Agree how corrections are returned and how the agency will identify the final version.
Keep feedback consolidated. Corrections to labels, spelling and selected images are easier to manage when one person sends a clear list. A new creative direction or added deliverable may need a revised scope and timeline; raise that as soon as the campaign changes.
Plan for dependencies
Drone capture, twilight work, weather and reshoots may introduce constraints that indoor photography does not share. Ask what can be delivered if one component cannot proceed and whether a staged release of assets would help the campaign.
Send our team the property type, location, requested media and the agency’s file deadline. We will confirm availability and the delivery arrangement for that booking. A website enquiry is the start of the discussion, not a guarantee that the requested appointment or deadline has been accepted.
