Real estate agent video script: keep it natural
Write a natural agent introduction and check property facts before recording the video.

A real estate agent video script should sound like the agent speaking to a buyer, with a clear opening, a few useful property details and one next step. Write it for speech, then rehearse it aloud before the shoot.
Decide where the agent belongs
An introduction at the front of the property can establish context. A short closing can invite the viewer to contact the agent. A narrated tour can link several spaces. Choose the role that suits the campaign rather than inserting speech into every room.
Tell the videographer whether the agent is comfortable on camera and whether the agency has a preferred style. Share a reference for tone, not a script copied from another listing. Confirm the approximate duration before writing a long narration that cannot fit the planned edit.
Use a simple structure
Start by introducing the property in ordinary language. Follow with two or three specific features the video will actually show. Finish with the intended action, such as contacting the listing agent for an inspection. Read the script alongside the proposed shot list so spoken details and pictures support each other.
Use short sentences and words the agent would normally say. Replace a string of brochure adjectives with a concrete observation about layout or use. For example, describe the living room opening onto the deck rather than announcing an undefined “ultimate lifestyle experience.”
Check the facts before recording
The agent should approve names, property details and any statements about dimensions, school zones, inclusions or proximity. If a detail is not settled, leave it out until it is confirmed. Correcting a spoken factual error after the shoot may involve more than changing a text caption.
Agree pronunciation for street and suburb names. Decide whether contact details appear visually, are spoken or are provided in the post text. A clean version without a time-sensitive date may be useful if the campaign continues beyond the first inspection.
Make the day easier
Bring the approved script in a readable format, allow a rehearsal and plan a suitable quiet place. Ask the videographer how the recording will be handled rather than assuming a teleprompter or unlimited retakes are included.
Nominate one person to approve the final spoken content and captions. Send our team the intended agent appearance and publication channels with your enquiry. We can include the appropriate recording and edit requirements in the property video scope.
