Real Estate Photography Packages: What You Need
Real estate photography packages should fit the campaign. Choose stills, video, aerial images and floor plans by the questions each answers.

Real estate photography packages should be chosen around the information the campaign needs to communicate. Start with clear still photographs, then consider whether video, aerial imagery, a floor plan or twilight photographs answer an additional question. More deliverables are only useful when there is a reason to include them.
A package name is not a specification. Before booking, turn it into an agreed list of media, final outputs, uses and timing. This also makes it easier to identify optional items without losing track of the core listing brief.
Start with the still-photography set
Identify the main rooms, exterior areas and property features that need to appear. Ask how many final edited photographs are included and how that selection will be made. Clarify whether detail photographs are part of the set or additional to it.
Consider the property rather than choosing purely by room count. A compact apartment with shared facilities may require a different plan from a house with a detached studio. Agree access to any area outside the private property and make sure its relationship to the listing is clear.
Add video for a specific communication task
Video can be briefed to show a route through the property, introduce the agent or create a short campaign asset. Decide which task matters before choosing length and format. A walk-through, a narrated overview and a vertical social clip are not automatically the same deliverable.
Ask whether the package includes separate horizontal and vertical edits, captions, branding, music and revisions. Confirm who supplies the script or talking points and who approves the final version. Do not assume one edit can simply be cropped to every platform without changing the composition.
Consider aerial media on its own merits
Aerial photographs may help show setting, access or the relationship between structures. They should have a clear purpose in the campaign rather than appearing as a standard upgrade for every address. The operator needs to assess whether the proposed work can be carried out at that location.
Ask what happens if aerial work cannot proceed and whether the remaining package still meets the brief. A photograph with a boundary overlay needs reliable boundary information supplied and checked separately; a drone image does not itself establish a legal boundary.
Use a floor plan to explain arrangement
A floor plan can help people follow room relationships and circulation. Clarify whether the quote is for a new measured marketing plan, an update to an existing plan or a visual presentation based on supplied information. Ask about labels, dimensions, included areas and revisions.
A marketing floor plan should not be treated as a building approval, construction drawing or survey. If the campaign depends on a particular area or dimension, agree how it will be checked and described. That is a different question from choosing colours or furniture symbols.
Write down the package boundaries
List the final photographs, video versions, plans and any optional editing. Include travel, access, weather-dependent visits, usage rights, delivery and approval arrangements. Ask how changes to the property or brief after the session are handled.
Keep realistic dates for preparation, capture, editing and campaign approval. A combined package does not necessarily mean every item will be delivered together or at a fixed speed; those details need confirmation for the actual booking.
Send us the property type, suburb, intended campaign and essential media. We can discuss a focused package with clear inclusions, then confirm availability and the scope before a date is agreed.
